Christian Jones is a writer/director based in New York where he is pursuing his MFA from Columbia University. His work addresses themes of human connectivity.

Born and raised in Southern Maryland, Christian moved to New York in 2018 after he received his B.A. in Communications from the University of Maryland - College Park. During his undergrad, Christian filled up his schedule with classes that focused on African American history, culture, and experience. The hours spent in these classes led to him graduating with a certificate in African American Studies from the University of Maryland.

He hopes that his background in African American research and personal experience will influence how he directs and writes about the Black American experience.

His last film, To The Water, is in the final stages of post-production and getting ready for a festival run.
